How To Reach Hundreds Of Thousands Of Users In Only 4 Weeks

Sweepstakes and Giveaways are everywhere these days, so it’s become increasingly difficult to catch the attention of users, especially on some of the world’s largest social media advertising platforms. But as a team, Mediaura and LongHorn Steakhouse were able to raise brand awareness and grow LongHorn’s fan base in just one month.

LongHorn Steakhouse desired to inform consumers about their healthy grilled menu items during the National Grilling Month initiative. Their marketing team came to us as their digital partner to create a fun and engaging Sweepstakes that would help increase conversions for the LongHorn brand.

The Sweepstakes

The “Show Us Your Grill Marks” Sweepstakes took place over 4 weeks time. Users were asked to visit their local LongHorn Steakhouse during National Grilling Month, order their favorite grilled dish, and snap a photo that displayed “the grill marks”. Next, they needed to post the image on LongHorn’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or the microsite Mediaura created, www.ExpertGriller.com, and register for the promotion. The Grand Prize consisted of a Weber® Genesis E330 Grill and twelve monthly digital coupons.

The focus for this project was to highlight the high level of food quality while providing valuable information to the Longhorn Steakhouse consumer about the brand. Mediaura partnered with Longhorn Steakhouse in order to design a website that showcases the superior dining experience by utilizing the latest technology. Our plan was to offer users a truly
informative and friendly website experience.
